Information for Teachers

Although written for the general market, the underlying educational themes in our books also appeal to both parents and teachers, and they are increasingly used in schools.

"Using just one of these books, the primary curriculum could be filled for a week, or even longer." - pfeg. Read what the pfeg assessors have to say about our books.

Teacher's Survival Guides

Teachers using our books are supported by freely available accompanying notes, which give ideas for lesson planning, map topics to key stages and the national curriculum, and link to other subjects.

Some of our titles are formally recognized by independant assesment, such as the pfeg Quality Mark.

Our titles also have associated activity sheets and puzzles which are available for free download for use in schools, or for fun homework assignments.

Case studies

Our debut publication Kitty's Bicycle starts at Babraham School, Cambs., where we gave our first interactive reading.

The Chatterbooks club at Fishpond's Library, Bristol, pioneered a literacy workshop based on Jennifer's Eggs.
