Pre-Launch workshop with Chatterbooks

Chatterbooks members at work on Jennifer's EggsSaturday 27th March 2010 saw the first "public" outing of Jennifer's Eggs with Author Andy Lunness running a workshop at Fishponds Library, Bristol. Members of the Chatterbooks club were given a synopsis of the original story and then asked to extend it by adding two pages somewhere in the book, a real challenge faced by Andy on completion of the first draft as the story was considered too short.
"We had some wonderfully creative ideas" commented Andy as the group reviewed their work, "Mark and I have some real competition here." In conclusion Andy unveiled how he completed the book, which was published early April 2010, and promised to return for a reading.

"Thank you for coming to our Chatterbooks meeting and letting us help with your new book. We especially liked being the first children to hear your new story. We also enjoyed getting a signed book and doing the jigsaws. We are looking forward to you coming back in June to read us the completed book. See you then."
